The Glasshouse
Try your hand at our latest outdoor pursuit – axe throwing! Simply channel your inner lumberjack and aim for the bullseye. Alternatively, we have a selection of bikes to hire (including balance bikes and electric bikes) for hours of fun exploring our vast verdant grounds. If both feet are preferred pressed firmly on the ground however, we have archery and laser clay pigeon shooting sessions – both activities free to embrace a more competitive side!
A brand-new addition to our February half term offering, we’re excited to be joining forces with our friends at Saracens, who will be delivering a game-changing rugby skills camp at The Grove. A unique and unforgettable experience awaits for the kids, providing an opportunity to learn new skills that not only benefit them on the rugby field but also as individuals. Each day will follow a structured schedule of tailored rugby activities, with the main focus being having fun and making new friends.
Falconer’s Corner offers children the chance to meet an array of spectacular birds of prey. Watch as these magnificent creatures soar through the sky and come to a gentle landing upon your little one’s outstretched arm. Private hawking walk experiences are also available.
Come on down to Asher’s Woodland Trails, where nature-lovers will revel in the vast expanse of forest containing a myriad of fascinating wildlife. You can either follow the Musical Meander Trail with interactive instruments perfect for the little ones, or discover the Nature Trail, developed in partnership with the Wildlife Trust. For something a little more hands-on, our Forest Camps and Mud and Guts’ Bush Craft Camps are the perfect chance for your little explorer to get back to basics with den building, campfire cooking and much, much more!
Does your child fancy themselves as the next Tiger Woods? Our Junior Golf Camps provide an excellent opportunity to learn from the best, with our friendly and passionate team of expert PGA Assistant Professionals on hand to impart the tips and tricks of the trade.
It is no secret that English weather can be unpredictable, so for the days where sheets of rain lash against the windows (fingers crossed that won’t happen!) we have you covered. You can take the kids swimming, or venture down to the Ivory Suite where there will be soft play plus a diverse array of arts, crafts and games to keep little minds and hands occupied. Think jewellery making, biscuit decorating, scratch art – the list goes on!
You’ve spent the morning running around after your little ones so now is the time for a well-deserved break. Luckily we have our OFSTED-registered kids’ club, Anouska’s, to save the day with their wonderful childcare facilities, which is located in a quiet spot just behind the Walled Garden, complete with a secure private garden and play park. Now you can slip away to the spa or the golf course with peace of mind knowing that the kids are being well looked after and thoroughly entertained with an exciting schedule of activities carefully put together by the team. Sessions include Creative Rock Painting, Pizza Making, Blooming Flowerpots and much, much more!
