Framed by oak beams, laden with rich tan leather and embellished with equine artwork as a nod to the late George Stubbs, The Stables promises a distinctly relaxed setting from which to enjoy artisanal food, laden with good provenance.

Regenerative agriculture


The regenerative agriculture movement rejects pesticides, artificial fertilizers and chemical inputs, and instead regenerates the soil, increases biodiversity, improves water cycles, and increases our resilience to climate fluctuation. The Stables is the first step in The Grove’s journey to a regenerative approach. Every mouthful of delicious food will come with a unique story – a story of these farmers and their dedication to a better way of living.

Jemima's Kitchen Garden


As well as working with ethical UK based suppliers, much of the produce on our menu is grown at our very own Jemima’s Kitchen Garden. A collaboration between our gardeners and chefs, homegrown fruit, vegetables and herbs are picked from the garden and used in our dishes, following our estate to plate ethos.

The Stables restaurant will be serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily for hotel guests and non-residents, subject to hotel occupancy levels.

  • Breakfast is available from 7 – 10.30am
  • Lunch is available from 12 – 1.30pm
  • Dinner is available from 5.30 – 9pm
