Our menu is distinctly British and perfect for any occasion. We take care to personally source producers we respect, so every ingredient has a story to tell – and you can read the provenance on our menu. We follow the seasons and we believe in low food miles… especially with ample fresh-picked produce from our Walled Garden.

The Stables restaurant and bar are located in the original 18th Century stable quarters, once populated with horses for the Earls of Clarendon. The celebrated 18th century painter, George Stubbs, visited frequently with his easel to capture these magnificent creatures, and his work revolutionised the painting of animals. Today, his most famous thoroughbred, Whistlejacket, hangs on the walls of the National Gallery in London. And standing in the reception of The Grove is a bronze sculpture of two horses – a nod to the painter who loved this place. Like George, our chefs are passionate about creating one masterpiece after another.
