There’s fun to be had at every turn, from exploring our Woodland Trails to testing your aim with an archery or laser clay pigeon shooting session.

Explore on foot, or hire a bike and during Easter, take part in an extra special scavenger hunt.

Segway Experience
Climb aboard one of these self-balancing, eco-friendly battery-powered two wheelers and get ready to explore.

Laser Clay
With a qualified instructor by your side and no license required, put your accuracy skills to the test and take aim with our state-of-the-art, laser-adapted rifles.

Archery
Pick up your bow, pull on your tights and show Robin Hood what you’re made of.

Horse Riding
Head to nearby Ashridge Estate for an adventure through their picturesque grounds.

Easter Wreath-Making Masterclass with McQueens

On Friday 8 April, bring all the shades of spring straight to your front door as you craft your very own Easter wreath with the help of acclaimed florists, McQueens Flowers. After the masterclass, a hearty lunch at The Stables awaits.

As well as our enchanted Walled Garden, there’s plenty more outdoor space to roam around. Our Formal Gardens are brimming with life, from the herbaceous borders to perfectly manicured hedges. Not only home to ducks, butterflies and our honey bees, if you look up into the trees, you may catch a glimpse of our resident little owl. Why not join us for one of our magical Hawking Experiences?

The Grand Union Canal also runs through our 300-acre estate. Home to barge boats and all manner of wildlife, it’s a tranquil haven on our doorstep. Pop by reception for a copy of our trail map or download our interactive map below if you fancy a stroll along the towpath.

Anouska's Crèche


Our fantastic, friendly crèche is open for your little ones aged two to nine years old. You’ll have peace of mind knowing your children are being cared for in an OFSTED-registered nursery run by Old Macdonald’s, a renowned local provider. So you can relax and enjoy a few hours of well-deserved time to yourself.
