Anouska’s Creche

Our fantastic, friendly new crèche opens its doors in April for your little ones aged two to nine years old. You’ll have the peace of mind of knowing your children are being cared for in an OFSTED registered crèche run by Old MacDonald’s, a renowned local provider. So you can relax and enjoy a few hours of well-deserved time to yourself.

It’s located in a quiet, pretty spot behind the Walled Garden, close to our facilities for children and families.

Anouska’s Crèche facilities

Our self-contained crèche is designed meet the needs of children aged two to nine years including children’s toilets and a disabled toilet with baby change and a secure private garden with a play park for the crèche only. There’s also a full spec kitchen where our staff prepare fresh, healthy snacks for the children.

Our crèche is available to hotel residents and spa members. Non-residents may use the crèche so long as they are staying within The Grove’s premises for dining, spa or golf. Availability is limited to the dates and opening hours shown below.

Costs and booking

Fees are £12 per hour per child, including all drinks and snacks. Minimum 2 hours – maximum 4 hours (please read further terms and conditions below).

A parent with a baby or toddler up to two years old is welcome to stay and use the crèche facilities with our compliments. Please note that this depends on crèche availability and is on a first come, first served basis.

Our crèche facility is located next to other family facilities including Anouska’s Day Nursery, the dedicated children’s pool, adventure play park, outdoor pool in the walled garden. We also provide the kids activity room in the Potting Shed, where our activities team run our children’s weekends and school holidays programme.

Before booking, please note the following:

  • Sessions can only be booked for minimum 2 and maximum 4 hours (excluding holiday club)
  • A parent or guardian must remain onsite at The Grove at all times while their children are in the crèche
  • Full pre-payment is required at the time of booking
  • 24 hours cancellation policy
  • For any child needing invasive medical treatment (e.g. Epipens, insulin), advance notice must be given so we can provide a qualified practitioner
  • Limited availability – we operate on a first come, first served basis

Anouska's Day Nursery

Also run by Old MacDonald’s, Anouska’s Day Nursery is open throughout the year and caters for children from 3 months to 5 years old.

Old MacDonald’s enthusiastic and dedicated team provide fun and educational activities which are tailor made based on the children’s individual needs and interests, and make use of The Grove’s outdoors spaces for the children to explore.

Babysitting Services

At The Grove, babysitting services are provided by our trusted partner Tinies – the UK’s leading childcare company. A babysitter will take care of the little ones so you can enjoy a dip in the pool at Sequoia spa, a romantic evening meal, or nightcap in the lounges. Simply let us know at the time of booking if you would like to book a babysitter and we will contact Tinies on your behalf. Babysitting fees start from £22.50 per hour with a minimum three hour booking time.

Temporary Closure

Anouska's Day Nursery and Crèche

Following the most recent guidance from the government, Public Health England and our various health, safety and hygiene advisors, we have taken the decision to temporarily close Anouska’s Day Nursery and Crèche.

Despite this being such a difficult and sad decision to make, we are confident that it is the right one. We look forward to welcoming you and your children back, hopefully very soon.
