I can't book a table online, what shall I do?
Due to high demand, we only have a handful of tables left for non-residents this summer. All available dates and times are listed online and if no availability is showing it means we are fully booked or dining is reserved for hotel residents only and our reservations team will not be able to book you in either.
If you have booked to stay at the hotel, please contact our reservations team who will book your table by emailing reservations@thegrove.co.uk or calling 01923 296010. We are experiencing a high volume of calls however our team will be in touch as soon as possible.
Can I book a table if I'm not staying at the hotel?
During summer, as the hotel is very busy, we reserve most of the tables for hotel residents. All available dates and times are listed online and if no availability is showing it means we are fully booked or dining is reserved for hotel residents only and our reservations team will not be able to book you in either. Our restaurant diaries open 2 months in advance on the first day of the month.
I have a reservation to stay at The Grove, how do I book a table?
Please contact our reservations team who will book your table by emailing reservations@thegrove.co.uk or calling 01923 296010. We are experiencing a high volume of calls however our team will be in touch as soon as possible.
Can I make a reservation for the bars?
We do not take reservations for The Glasshouse or The Stables bars, these operate on a walk-in only basis but please note, priority is given to hotel residents and golfers and we have the right to refuse people on busy days.
Is there a dress code in The Grove’s restaurants?
We do not have a strict dress code, but recommend that our guests dress in smart casual wear.
When do your restaurant diaries open?
Guests who are not staying with us are able to book our restaurants up to two months in advance. We open our restaurant calendar on the first of each month. For example if you are booking a table for the month of May, you will be able to book from 1 March.
Hotel guests are able to make their dining reservation when they make their hotel reservation.
Leisure Facilities
Can I visit the Walled Garden and use the outdoor pool and beach if I'm not staying at the hotel?
No, entry into the Walled Garden where our beach and outdoor pool is located is available for hotel residents only.
Can I arrive early and use the leisure facilities?
Please note check in time for the hotel is 3pm and check out time is 11am and you are able to arrive early to use our outdoor facilities. Currently we cannot offer early access to our spa due to our changing facilities being currently unavailable.
Spa
Are you offering Spa Days?
Due to social distancing, we are currently unable to offer spa days. We will update our Spa page when this changes.
Checking in
What time is Check-in / Check-Out?
Check in time is from 3pm, however, if you arrive early and your room is not ready, you can leave your bags with us for when you return. Check out is 11am.
Families
What are the room prices for children?
For guests booking an interconnecting superior west wing room, we offer a 30% discount on our standard bed and breakfast rate. For children sharing their parents room, there is a £50 supplementary charge for each child (4 – 12 years). For children aged 3 years and under, there is no supplementary charge.
What are the room configurations for families?
Our superior west wing bedrooms can accommodate two adults and a baby cot. Our deluxe west wing rooms can accommodate two adults and two children under the age of 12 years. Our family rooms can accommodate two adults and three children. For the children there is one bunk bed and a sofa bed or cot.
Some of our mansion bedrooms can accommodate children.
