7 Things To Do Between Meetings
2 September 2021 / Meetings & Events /
Between busy meetings and corporate events, make the most of your time here at The Grove by enjoying all of the facilities and activities that we have to offer. From tranquil woodland trails to energising spin classes, you will be sure to find something that will give you that well-needed break from work.
1. Asher's Woodland Trails
Leave the meeting room behind and venture outdoors to stretch your legs along our woodland trails. Immerse yourself in nature and allow the fresh air to blow away those meeting-room cobwebs as you wander, taking in the abundance of wildlife that lives around you.
2. Art and sculptures
Take a break from your computer screen and instead admire the impressive sculptures that are dotted around the formal gardens. With perfectly manicured lawns and beautiful flowerbeds, a stroll around these gardens will hopefully give you the refresh and reset that your mind needs for your next meeting.
3. Relax in the library
If you happen to be staying with us overnight, make the most of our stylish library which can be found in The Lounges. Whether you fancy an evening cocktail or just a quiet space to read over meeting notes, this impressive room is the perfect setting.
4. Outdoor activities
If you have a spare hour or two between meetings, why not squeeze in an outdoor activity. Here at The Grove we have plenty of exciting outdoor pursuits for you to choose from, from archery and laser clay pigeon shooting, to tennis and whizzing around our woodland trails on a Segway. Whatever you fancy to take your mind off work, just be sure to book in advance.
5. Gym and studio
If you’ve enjoyed an overnight stay as part of your meeting, shake off your working day and head on down to our fitness and exercise studios, where our highly qualified trainers will be on hand to guide you through your workout. Or, if you’d prefer, cool off with a refreshing swim in our 22m indoor swimming pool (don’t forget to hop into the jacuzzi for a luxury soak on your way out!).
6. Dine at The Glasshouse
If you will be joining us as a day delegate, why not stick around after your afternoon meeting and treat yourself to a unique dining experience at The Glasshouse. Our live-action food stations offer everything from sushi and seafood to carvery and robata-grilled meats, and the best bit? You can keep going back for more! On top of that, The Glasshouse Bar boasts a vibrant range of cocktails, spirits, beers and wines sure to get your tastebuds singing.
Dinner is served from 6 – 9pm daily and is priced at £49 per person on Monday – Thursday and £68 on Friday – Sunday.
7. Leisure time
To really make the most of your time at The Grove, book an extra night to properly switch off from work and make use of all of our facilities. If golf is your thing, perhaps book yourself a lesson with one of our PGA Professionals, or treat yourself to a relaxing and rejuvenating spa treatment that will be sure to leave your body and mind refreshed.
