Visit the Walled Garden

Soak up the spring sunshine in the Walled Garden. Exclusively for residents, enjoy the heated outdoor pool, private beach, tennis courts and Jemima’s Kitchen Garden. The Grove Grill will also return during school holidays, promising a mouth-watering selection of flame-kissed delights. It’s an idyllic oasis that you won’t want to leave!

Savour seasonal cocktails out on the terrace

Celebrate the season of new beginnings with one of our seasonal cocktails out on the terrace. With our garden-to-glass ethos, each beverage has been designed with Jemima’s Kitchen Garden in mind, using ingredients hand-picked from the plots.

Specially for our 20th anniversary, Tom, The Stables Bar Manager, has created the ‘Mansion on the Hill’ cocktail. Inspired by his ten years working at The Grove and the hotel’s rich history, the cocktail contains The Grove Gin, Cointeau, crème de violette and grapes. £1 from each drink will be donated to local Hertfordshire children’s charity, Playskill, our charity of the year.

Discover the bluebells in Asher’s Woodland

Find The Grove’s hidden gems

Our 300 acres are home to many hidden gems that only few know about. When you join us, see if you can spot the Victorian reflection pool in our woodlands, the six air raid shelters nestled within the grounds, and the WWII bomb shrapnel marks on the mansion’s brickwork. If you need a hint, speak with Sally, our Front of House Manager.
