A Weekend Of Fun at The Grove

Pack your bags and join us for a long weekend of adventures in the countryside. We’ve got an endless roster of activities and things to do with the kids, from tree-climbing and family golf camps, to building sandcastles on Ralph’s Beach and exploring the woodland in miniature 4x4s. If you’re visiting us over the second bank holiday weekend, why not stay a little longer into half term? If you’ve got little footie fans in the house they won’t want to miss our Football Escapes camp led by ex-Premier League players.

A Day at Whipsnade Zoo

Embrace your wild side at the UK’s largest zoo. Experience thousands of amazing animals, from cheetahs and African lions, to wolverines and red pandas, and discover how the ZSL conservation zoo is protecting their future on Earth. For an extra special day out, treat the kids to one of Whipsnade’s animal experiences, where they can get up close and meet the giraffes, elephants, tigers and hippos.

Return to Azkaban at The Making of Harry Potter

Pull on your Hogwarts robes, grab your wand and enjoy a magical day out in the Wizarding World. At the Warner Bros. Studio Tour you’ll be able to experience the real sets, costumes and props used in the eight spellbinding Harry Potter films. And launching just in time for the May bank holidays is the new Return to Azkaban exhibition, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Prisoner of Azkaban film. Here, you’ll be able to uncover new filmmaking secrets and discover never-before-seen sets, including the Divination classroom, with the set dressed for the scene where Harry, Ron and Hermione attend their first lesson with Professor Trelawney. Make sure to keep your eyes peeled for the original Grim teacup!

Waddesdon Manor: Escape From the Aviary

Just a hop, skip and a jump from The Grove is Waddesdon Manor. Between 25 and 27 May the grounds and gardens will come alive with the sound of birdsong for a special weekend celebrating the feathered creatures. Little ones can meet the birds of prey and even have the chance to handle them, plus there will be ample opportunity for bird-spotting around the grounds. Also on the agenda is face-painting, a carousel and plenty of creative art and craft sessions so get ready for a memorable day out with all the family!
