Join us for an unforgettable sunrise or sunset adventure as you take to the sky over Hertfordshire in your very own hot-air balloon, led by Magic Balloon Experience. After landing, you’ll have a Champagne toast to celebrate.

The meeting time for sunrise rides is 6am, and 6pm for sunset rides. Please note, times may vary by up to 30 minutes depending on weather conditions.

Full safety briefing and help to inflate and deflate the balloon
One-hour hot-air balloon ride with one of our experienced balloon pilots
Celebratory glass of Champagne on landing
Transfer back to The Grove

Please note, guests are required to climb into the hot-air balloon basket.

Terms & Conditions

This package is available as a £400 per person add on for residents staying in the hotel (up to 4 people per basket). Tickets are pre-paid and are non-refundable. Depending on weather, the hot-air balloon launch site may also be on-site at The Grove. Due to wind direction, we cannot control where the balloon will land. If flight is cancelled due to weather we will do our best to accommodate you on another flight during your stay, or a flight within 6 months within the home counties. Guests will need to call a number on the day before after 9.30pm if it’s a morning booking or on the day after 2.30pm if it’s an evening booking to check the flight information. A briefing document with flight details will also be sent on confirmation including details of what to wear and expect. Children must be at least 7 years old and 4ft 6ins or taller. Meet-up times are subject to change depending on weather and if The Grove is being used as the launch site.
