HIGH CHAI

Madhu’s at The Grove proudly presents the High Chai, a unique fusion of British and Indian culinary traditions. Rooted in Indian heritage and Eastern African influences, the menu bridges cultural divides. As British Asians living in Britain for over five decades, this menu infuses traditional British tea-time favourites with the rich flavours of Indian spices. The High Chai is a homage to the opulence of Indian Maharajas during the British Raj, transforming classic sandwiches into exotic, spiced delights with an array of delicate pastries. Featuring blends of worldwide teas by the London Tea Exchange and our masala chai with aromatic spices like cardamom, cinnamon, and ginger, it’s not just a meal, but a sensory journey through time, celebrating the shared legacy of tea in diverse cultures.
