After months of refurbishment, our mansion suites will be available from 1 April, sporting a fresh new look thanks to the team at Martin Hulbert Design.
The mansion renovations form part of the final phase of our hotel’s extensive three-year refurbishment. Dating back to the 16th century, the mansion will be home to nine signature suites and sixteen bedrooms. The re-imagined interiors of the suites will blend antique and contemporary, and will make the most of the original Georgian features, including mouldings, ornate fireplaces and curved bay windows with spectacular views over the Hertfordshire countryside.
Bridging the gap between the house and the gardens, Martin Hulbert Design has chosen three colour schemes for the suites: terracotta, blue and green. Each suite is individually designed with everything made and sourced in the UK, and almost everything – apart from the thoughtfully sourced antiques – is bespoke, giving it a highly curated craft feel. The wooden flooring will be lovingly restored, alongside beautiful marble bathrooms and restored working fireplaces for guests’ use during the cooler months.
We can’t wait for you to see the completed suites and experience the ultimate mansion retreat.
