The charm of the Potting Shed at The Grove lies in its rustic and elegant setting, combined with a focus on the freshest of ingredients and simple cooking. Located within our beautiful Walled Garden from 17 July – 8 September 2019, guests will be invited to indulge in wholesome dishes, designed for sharing.

Seasonal dining


With a focus on seasonality, we serve up a menu that is sourced almost entirely from our very own grounds with ingredients hand-picked straight from our Kitchen Garden, which thrives under the watchful eye of our head gardener, Natasha Geldenhuys. Much of the food is cooked using our outdoor wood-fired grill, perfect for those who enjoy a rustic and informal dining experience. Featuring large flatbreads, succulent lamb, and fresh fish cooked over smouldering embers, this is a menu for sharing with friends and family on a warm summer’s evening.

  • Cancellation must be received at least 48 hours prior to the dining date to avoid late cancellation charge of £20 per person.

Executive Sous Chef

Andrew Parkinson

Andrew has over 30 years experience in some of the UK’s finest hotels and restaurants, including Gleneagles, Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen, Quaglino’s and Odette’s. Cooking has taken him all over the world, travelling to Australia, Italy and Singapore, where he led a range of high profile events. Andrew is also a published author and has released two books, ‘Cutting it fine’ and ‘The Zedel Cookbook’, where he was the Executive Head Chef of the iconic French Brasserie.

With produce from our Kitchen Garden and the support of local suppliers and artisan specialists, we will provide a unique dining experience.
