The Formal Gardens


Located just beyond The Glasshouse terrace, our formal gardens are brimming with life, from the herbaceous borders to perfectly manicured hedges. The artwork lined paths will lead you to the iconic ornamental canal, overlooking our golf course and breathtaking Hertfordshire countryside. Not only home to ducks, butterflies and our honey bees, if you look up into the trees, you may catch a glimpse of our resident little owl.

The Walled Garden


Hidden behind grand gates, our enchanting Walled Garden is a popular area for guests during the spring and summer months. With an outdoor pool, Ralph’s Beach, Jemima’s Kitchen Garden, volleyball and tennis courts, it makes for the perfect spot to while away a balmy summer afternoon.
