Your Handicap with The Grove
As a Clarendon Collection account holder, you are eligible to hold a handicap with us. Sam Millar, Tournament and Golf Services Manager and Alice Kozlowski, Golf Sales Associate look after all handicaps here at The Grove and will be happy to help you either obtain or re-activate a handicap.
The new World Handicapping System comes into action on 1 November 2021 and gives you a handicap index. Your handicap for each course will be calculated using the course rating or slope rating of the course you are playing, giving you an accurate playing handicap on each course you play.
To create a handicap, we require a minimum of 54 holes (3×18 holes, 6×9 holes or a mixture of both). The aim is to have 20 scores entered, with the best 8 counting towards your handicap index.
Once you have a handicap you will be given a membership ID. This ID will allow you to log into the MyEnglandGolf App where you can post scores, keep track of your handicap and follow your fellow golfers. To find out more, including where to download the app, please click here.
If you have any questions about the World Handicap System or would like to get a handicap with us, please contact either Sam or Alice below.
