The Glasshouse

Our international theatre of cooking

The Glasshouse is The Grove’s international theatre of cooking.  Guests can watch the chefs prepare each dish from scratch, across nine different stations – from traditional roast beef to wok stations and from seafood to tapas. Food is freshly prepared using local ingredients, including some from our very own Kitchen Garden right here on the estate. There truly is a delicious choice for everyone.

February Half-Term

We are opening The Glasshouse from 6pm exclsuively for half-term week to allow for families and children to eat slightly earlier, available 13th-19th Feb.

    We are proud to announce our partnership with the Royal Warrant supplier Donald Russell, for all of our meats in the Glasshouse.

    Children aged 3 - 12 years, 50% off the stated menu price.Children 2 years and under dine for free when dining with a full paying adult.

    Dining reservations can be made from the first day of each month for the current month and the following two months e.g. a reservation for August can be made from 1 June. Maximum table size at weekends (Friday dinner to Sunday lunch including bank holidays) is 8 diners, and 12 diners midweek. We will endeavour to meet all your requests, however please note these are subject to availability

    The Glasshouse experience is based on two hours from time of reservation.
    Please contact the restaurant if you are delayed as table will be held for a maximum of 30 minutes.

    From Gleneagles in Scotland via London's Royal Lancaster Hotel and Quaglino's restaurant in his early years. 

    Andrew followed this up as The Executive chef of Jamie Oliver’s Fifteen London, for almost 8 years before moving on to run Brasserie Zedel in London's Piccadilly Circus.

    His career highlights have included cooking at 10 Downing Street for the World leaders at the G20 summit, has 2 books on the shelves and competing on American TV's 'Iron Chef America' in 2007.

    In his spare time Andrew is a keen world marathon runner with 18 marathons completed so far and has raised over £100,000 for various charities.

     

    Signature dish: seared scallops, artichoke purée and roasted tomato vinaigrette.
