October Garden Tour and Afternoon Tea
9 October, 2018 / Wildlife Trust
Enjoy a tour of our gardens followed by afternoon tea in the Lounges
Herts and Middlesex Wildlife Trust are proud to be working with The Grove as one of their Gold corporate partners to provide a wildlife management plan. Join us from 2pm on Tuesday 9 October for a tour of the gardens and the wildlife that calls The Grove home.
Led by Head Gardener David Roberts, the tour will begin in the Formal Gardens, with its spectacular herbaceous border, where you may spot our resident little owl. You will then be taken over to The Walled Garden, constructed in 1878, with impressive displays of fruit, vegetables and herbs.
After the tour, you will return to the historic heart of The Grove, where the Earls of Clarendon threw lavish house parties for the likes of Queen Victoria and Horace Walpole, for a sumptuous afternoon tea.
Minimum age 16. Booking essential. Refunds will be given up to 14 days before the event (less £5 admin fee). No refunds within 14 days.
