Nutrition is a fundamental part of our lifestyles and affects both the body and mind. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight as well as helping to reduce the risks of chronic diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, some cancers and osteoporosis.
Jenna Hope is our resident nutritionist here at Sequoia spa. From the age of 13, Jenna removed refined sugar from her diet and has been fascinated by the way food affects both the body and mind ever since. She spent five years studying nutrition in order to qualify as a recognised nutritionist by Public Health England, NHS choices and NHS careers (Association For Nutrition). Jenna works closely with the media as a nutrition consultant and has had media appearances including ITV News, Sky News, Women’s Health, Cosmopolitan magazine, The Daily Express and more.
Jenna’s main goal is to help individuals to implement nutritional strategies which fit into their everyday lives and their personal goals to achieve a healthier and happier lifestyle.
