Spa Member’s February Fitness Challenge

This month’s gym challenge couldn’t be simpler: how quick can you row 350 meters? You can enter as many times as you like to try to beat your time. All times will be put on to a leader board where the winners will receive a prize.

Before you start, be sure to practice your rowing technique. First, sit in the seat and strap your feet in tightly. With your knees bent, grab the rowing bar with both hands and hold your arms out straight in front of you. Keep your core tight and back straight as you push your legs until they’re fully straight (without locking the knees), then pull the handle towards your chest. You can ask one of our personal trainers to help you with this and help you download the Skill Row app so your times can be recorded.

When you’re in the gym, let one of our fitness team members know you want to take part and they will record your time and add you to the leader board. Two winners will be contacted on 1 March 2022.
