Burns Night at The Glasshouse
25 January, 2020 / Food & Drink
Celebrate Burns Night with traditional Scottish dishes, live music and hot toddies by our firepit
When the Scots have just about recovered from Hogmanay (which is bigger than Christmas north of Hadrian’s Wall), it’s time for Burns Night. This annual feast celebrates the birthday of Scotland’s national bard, Robert Burns, together with the finest things in life… food, friendship and whisky!
Burns Night at The Glasshouse will feature acoustic live music in the bar… the finest Scottish cuisine complete with Scottish piper… and a roaring firepit with blankets, Talisker hot toddies or Roe & Co hot chocolate.
Menu highlights include the traditional haggis, Scottish langoustines, queen scallop ceviche and toasted oats, Scottish highland rib of beef with a whisky cream sauce, raspberry cranachan and much more.
A free dram of whisky goes to anyone sporting tartan!
