The Glasshouse Dessert Cocktails

The Bar team at The Grove have created a brand new dessert cocktail menu. Served in The Glasshouse, these indulgent, drinkable desserts are the perfect way to finish your meal, whether you’ve had pudding or not! Take a look at each cocktail and choose your favourite to try before your next visit.
New York Cheesecake
It’s hard to beat a classic slice of New York Cheesecake, however this drink tastes just like the real thing. Simple but so tasty, it’s made up of vanilla vodka, Frangelico, lemon juice, brown sugar and mascarpone.
Make at home:
- 40ml Vanilla vodka
- 15ml Frangelico
- 20ml lemon juice
- x2 teaspoons brown sugar
- x2 teaspoons mascarpone
Add all the ingredients to a shaker, then shake and double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with a biscuit crumb.
Nutella Martini
A classic dessert cocktail, perfect for chocolate lovers. The indulgent martini is elegant, deliciously creamy and the perfect post-dinner tipple.
Make at home:
- 40ml Vanilla vodka
- 20ml Creme de cacao
- 15ml cream
- Teaspoon of nutella
Add all the ingredients to a shaker, then shake and double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with cocoa powder.
Toffee Sour
The Toffee Sour is the ultimate autumnal drink. Made with spiced rum, butterscotch liquor, lemon juice and caramel syrup, it will warm you up on a chilly evening and has the perfect balance of sweet and sour.
Make at home:
- 37.5ml Bacardi spiced
- 20ml butterscotch Liqueur
- 10ml lemon juice
- 10ml caramel syrup
Add all the ingredients to a shaker, then shake and strain into a tumbler and garnish with a caramel crumb.
Brandy Alexander
When winter evenings draw in, and you’re looking for a comfort drink, the Brandy Alexander is just the ticket with warming Cognac, crème de cacao, cream and ginger bread syrup. Simply irresistible!
Make at home:
- 25ml Remy Martin
- 25ml Creme de cacao
- 25ml cream
- 10ml gingerbread syrup
Add all the ingredients to a shaker, then shake and double strain into a chilled martini glass and garnish with grated nutmeg.
