Six romantic dates
3 February 2020 / Lifestyle / What To Do /
Flirt with adventure. Fall in love over a bit of fun. Here are some ideas for giving Cupid a chance this Valentine’s with some bonding and romantic things to do.
1. Segway away
Climb aboard our resident two-wheelers and take off for an exhilarating spin around the nature trails through Heath Wood. It’s a completely unique experience to share together.
2. Decadent Champagne Afternoon Tea
It’s unashamedly romantic. Champagne Afternoon Tea in our exuberant historic lounges with real fires… there are delicious savouries but, really, it’s all about the cake.
3. Enjoy the ride
Feel the freedom when you cycle along our country trails together, exploring our spectacular 300-acres across Whippendell Wood, alongside the Grand Union Canal and further afield (the handy trail map helps, too).
4. Puddingstone Gin Distillery Tour
Join other spirit lovers for two hours of gin-infused fun at the nearby Puddingstone Distillery. Bond over cocktails made with the famous Campfire Gin.
5. Ski Lesson at The Snow Centre
Serious fun in the snow. Book anything from a 1-hour lesson to all day on the slopes with a private lesson just for the two of you, and look forward to the après ski…
6. A date with the stars at Rex Cinema
Turn Valentine’s into movie night with art deco decadence at the Rex in Berkhamsted. It’s rightly famous for being special… the perfect place to cuddle up and watch dreams on screens. When the weather’s better, look out for our very own pop-up cinema.
Now you’ve got the romantic date ideas, all you need to do is book your room or suite!
