2019 at The Grove: What we’re looking forward to

2018 has been a great year for The Grove. To name just a few highlights – we celebrated the hotel’s 15th birthday in September, launched the first Potting Shed pop-up in the summer and grew our own hops with Watling Street Brewery to create our very own beer.

The arrival of 2019 marks exciting new beginnings and we have even more to look forward to next year. From the new-and-improved The Glasshouse restaurant, to an exciting new spa brand at Sequoia – we asked a few of the team to tell us what they are looking forward to here at The Grove in 2019:

You may have heard that The Glasshouse restaurant is getting ready to undergo a major makeover from January. We can’t wait to share further details and unveil the new restaurant, which will offer a very different look and feel when it reopens in April.

In the meantime, we are looking forward to opening our Colette’s pop-up restaurant. With a menu of small plates featuring the highest-quality seasonal ingredients, it’ll be a wonderfully informal dining experience in the gorgeous surroundings in the heart of the Mansion.

January will see the launch of two OSKIA spa treatments here at Sequoia spa. Our guests will be able to choose from a Glow on the Go facial or a Luxury Body Treatment, both of which will use OSKIA’s luxurious product line.

All made in the UK, OSKIA’s products blend cellular nutrients with high-tech bio-actives for healthy, happy and glowing skin – and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome them into the Sequoia family.

To celebrate the re-launch of the The Glasshouse, we will be redesigning the rose garden on the terrace. We don’t want to give too much away at this stage, but you can expect a striking new look to complement the restaurant’s interiors.

Our picnic offering and al-fresco lunches continue to be very popular, so next year we’ll re-launch these with brand new menus. There is so much outdoor space here at The Grove and it’s the perfect way to make the most of it – whether it’s a special occasion, a family outing or a change of scenery for a meeting. We’ll be announcing the new concept in January, so watch this space!
