Horse Riding

Embark on an exciting horse riding adventure through the picturesque grounds of Ashridge Estate or join our seasonal Pony Club at The Grove

Whether you’re a championship equestrian in the making or have never before ridden a horse, Ashridge Trekking Centre offers a relaxed and fun environment for horse-lovers young and old to come together and enjoy an unforgettable horse riding experience around the beautiful grounds of Ashridge Estate.

Pony Club

If you’re visiting with children during the school holidays, join our Pony Club, led by Ashridge Trekking Centre at The Grove. The experience offers a great introduction into the world of ponies in a relaxed and friendly environment. Children will learn how to groom and care for a pony under the guidance of trained professionals before taking to the saddle for a fun lesson or hack through the grounds. Each Pony Club session will vary, meaning children can come more than once and experience something different each time.

Sessions will run from 9.30 – 11.30, 12.30 – 14.30 or 15.00 – 17.00.

Rates:

Children (aged 4 – 15 years): £85

Bookings can be made with the activities team by emailing activities@thegrove.co.uk or call 01923 296010 to speak to our reservations team. Sessions are exclusively for hotel residents only.

Pony Club Terms & Conditions:

Available for children aged 4 – 15 years. All bookings must be made with our activities team. Prepayment is required at time of booking. Cancellations 14 days prior to booking date will receive a full refund. Within 14 days, the activity can be moved to another date. Within 48 hours, no changes can be made to the reservation. No shows and cancellations within 48 hours will be charged in full.
