Whilst we look forward to welcoming you to The Grove, we hope our brief guide helps you get ready for your visit.
If you are travelling by car please note some SatNavs may find the postcode WD17 3NL gives a more accurate position. For detailed directions please view our Location page...
Head straight to the Golf Shop and let our team make your arrival as stress free as possible. We'll unload and park your car for you whilst you check-in, and get ready for your round. The Grove is a soft-spike course, and we can adjust your footwear if required.
Get ready for your round by making use of our changing facilities. Spacious and with individual lockers (£1 deposit required) for you to store your belongings. No need to bring a towel, we provide complimentary towels for your use. And should you forget anything (or couldn't fit anything else in the car!) we have a golf shop loaded with equipment and clothing to buy or hire.
Where to warm up
Get off to the best start by preparing on our extensive practice facilities which include a full length driving range, short game area and putting green; just as quick as the real thing! On the range practice with a pyramind of complimentary balls. Our team will get your clubs ready and politely inform you when to head up to the first tee.
From the first tee to the eighteenth
At the first tee, our Grove Starter will let you know the day's pin positions along with one or two tips to maintain the pace of play. Here you will be given your complimentary tees, pencil, scorecard, yardage book and bag tag. As you come up to the 18th green, the team will be on hand to park your buggies, collect and clean your clubs so you can enjoy the final few moments on the course.
Maintain your energy
The Stables is ideal for a warm-up breakfast or more substantial meal; or enjoy a drink in the bar whilst watching SkySports and congratulate or commiserate! The Halfway House provides a selection of snacks and and refreshments. We also have a drinks buggy that goes around the course, which you can stop at any time.
Don't worry if your round didn't quite go according to plan. We
offer a range of individual and group golf instruction programmes
suitable for beginner to advanced. Kevin Merry heads up our team of
instructors. Working with a select number of golf professionals and
elite level amateurs, Kevin also contributes articles for Today's
Golfer Magazine - so he knows his stuff!
