Roederer Family Dinner | 10 &
11 August 2010 | £150.00 per person
The Roederer family first established an
enviable reputation in Champagne before colonising regions as
diverse as the Duoro in Portugal and some of the most enviable
vineyards of Bordeaux. Tonight is a celebration of their
portfolio featuring their most iconic wine, Cristal Champagne,
matched with a seasonal menu based around produce from our very own
Walled Garden.
The Wines of Pomerol | 7 September 2010 | £250.00 per
person
By far the tiniest of the Bordeaux
appellations, the region of Pomerol is crammed with some of
the greatest Chateau. Famously, the wines from here have an
opulence which is often missing from many Clarets, just one reason
why they are so sought after. Tonight’s dinner will feature
Petrus 1980 poured from magnum as well as 3 other top Chateau.
White truffle and the wines of Piedmont | 9
November 2010 | £150.00 per person
Piedmont is very possibly the greatest region
in the world for gastronomy. The wines are sublime and the
food is almost better, particularly in the cold months of late
Autumn, when the white truffles come into season. Tonight is
a celebration of this most noble fungi, enjoyed alongside a
collection of superb wines from the region, including a top
Barolo.
