Hotel barbecues

Enjoy a barbecue on a beach… our urban beach and outdoor pool in the Walled Garden is the perfect place for an informal get together. We can even run a Barbecue Master Class for you. With mountains of food and heaps of camaraderie, a barbecue is a great way to round up a corporate day on the golf course.

Hotel picnics

We’ve carefully chosen several idyllic spots for the perfect picnic in our beautiful 300-acre Estate in Hertfordshire … up and down dale, beside rivers and trees. We’ll run you out there in a golf buggy, serve up a fabulous feast in a hamper – and leave you to it. Laze around in the sun on a rug, enjoy wonderful views and beautiful food and wine.

Colette’s in-room experience

If you’re staying in the Mansion House, enjoy the ultimate, romantic way to dine… exquisite Colette’s food, fine bone china, butler service. Your room is filled with glowing candles and flower petals, your bath half-run for you to slip into at the end.

Potting Shed

Enjoy a fabulous feast in our historic Potting Shed on a lazy summer afternoon. It’s a striking space within our Walled Garden, full of antiques from Provence and England with a dedicated unique dining area.

Culinary team building

A twist on the Potting Shed experience… our fine chefs will teach you how to prepare and cook one of your courses. It’s a great bonding and team-building experience.

Luxury private dining

An express bite between conference sessions… a leisurely lunch stretching into the afternoon… a glitzy glam dinner for your top performers… an exclusive family party… we’ll devise the menu and every aspect of the meal to match whatever you need.

Intimate parties of up to 24 can enjoy the opulent splendour of The Mansion House in The Garden Room and Donneraile. The luxurious, historic rooms create a wonderful atmosphere for savouring a relaxed dinner with the finest wines.
