SPACE. And lots of it. All within four very long walls. Our Walled Garden is a huge world within a world, offering you something entirely different within the estate. When you’re here with your family, it’s somewhere safe your kids can run free and wander, discovering the numerous delights within.

Activities in the garden

Pardon the pun, but here it’s wall to wall fun.  There’s a 22m outdoor swimming (complete with endless fluffy towels). Stretch out on the sun loungers and order some more drinks from the Gazebo. Mess around on the funky urban beach and sandy volleyball pitch. On really hot days we also offer a BBQ with heaps of gorgeous food! Play a silly game of giant Chess or Jenga. Play a proper game of croquet, badminton, beach volleyball. Anyone for tennis? There are two courts.

And plenty of green green grass for running around.

Inside the Potting Shed

Relax in the boho chic Potting Shed, full of antiques from Provence and England. Play table tennis, pool and other games. Read the paper. Have a nap. Lap it all up. And ponder the fact that this is the second largest walled garden in the UK - and possibly the nicest!

Our outdoor swimming pool and gazebo in the Walled Garden have now closed for the Autumn and Winter months. Guests can make use of the indoor pools in Sequoia (our spa) or the Children’s Pool located adjacent to Anouska’s Kids Club. The rest of the Walled Garden remains open, so enjoy it as part of your stay.
