Meet the team at our family hotel

We’ve carefully chosen the staff at Anouska’s kids club for their warmth and sparkle. It goes without saying that they’re all qualified and thoroughly CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) checked. The team are one big happy family, making The Grove one of the friendliest and best hotels for families. They’re led by Nicola Freeman, who is very experienced and highly qualified. She has managed Anouska’s ever since we welcomed the first guests at The Grove.

    Nicola Freeman

    Hugely qualified, Nicola is the manager at Anouska’s. Her special skill is understanding a child’s individual needs and giving them just what they need. She loves singing her heart out with karaoke and her favourite colour is pink.

    Emma loves messy play with the kids. It’s not surprising that she’s best at organising outdoor imaginary play – she’s not afraid of running around and getting muddy! Her favourite colours are… brown for mud and blue for bright summery skies.

    Kandy’s favourite colour is turquoise… so it’s no surprise to find out that she loves swimming with kids in the various beautiful pools at The Grove. She’s very imaginative and loves thinking up brilliant new activities for the children to do.

    Leigh really enjoys encouraging children to develop and taking children for walks around the grounds, discovering all the beautiful things and having fun. Her favourite colour is pink.

    Laura’s heart is as big as Hertfordshire – she’s very caring and loves comforting children. Her favourite colour is purple and she loves playing with cornflour with the kids, messing around with different textures, colours and glitter.

    Eleanor’s our natural born storyteller. Children of all ages are spellbound when she opens a book and starts to read. Her favourite colour is purple and she loves painting too.

    Sammy loves teaching children new things and thinks it’s wonderful to see the joy on their faces when they learn to do something for the first time. Her favourite activity is painting and her favourite colour is purple.
