    In Colette’s restaurant… Pumpkins by Antonia Williams. Commissioned especially for the space by interior Designer Martin Hulbert.

    In the lobby… sculpture of horses by Lucy Poett. Inspired by the fact that the famous landscape painter George Stubbs used to walk from his Edgware home to The Grove, where he would paint the Clarendon horses.

    In the lobby… woven ball, purchased from a shop in Paris called Van der Stratten.

    The Sun Catchers

    In the water garden…. “The Sun Catchers”. Sparkling open flower glass sculptures on great metal stalks, that ‘grow’ out of the water in the water garden, by Neil Wilkin. Watch out for his Glass Tree, hung with glass hearts – the centrepiece of the formal gardens. All commissioned by us.

  • Blue Chandelier

    Blue lounge

    In the ‘blue’ lounge… the Blue Chandelier was salvaged from Martin’s friend’s garage and restored. He designed the blue lounge around this centrepiece.

  • Hotel Art at The Grove Hertfordshire

    Glass link pieces

    In the piano lounge and Presidential Suite… glass link pieces hanging on the wall. These were discovered by Martin, hanging as ornaments in the window of the Ferrari Car Showroom in Milan. Martin drove past and thought they would look perfect in The Grove, walked in and negotiated.

    Outside… Nathalie Decoster’s serene sculptures use recycled materials and are peopled by her signature tiny bronze figures, contrasting with giant shapes representing infinity.
